August's Baby Blessing

So, most of my blog photos are gone.  Peter explained it in the post below this one.  He owes me a long back massage and that's all I'm going to say about that:)

In the beginning of the month, we were fortunate enough to find time to go down to Utah (yet again!) for little August's baby blessing and to say hello to Annette who came from Atlanta to tend to poor Lisa while she was getting through her surgery.  It was great to see Annette and watch Lisa all drugged up and loopy.

August seemed much more alert than when I last held him (despite what the pictures may show), but he was still very much adorable and very patient with everyone (and by everyone, I mean mostly me) holding him and the constant chatter and Frozen's "Let It Go" being watched and performed by Maddie and Caroline...over...and over....and over again.

The next day was his blessing day and it was great! Tyler did a wonderful job on his blessing and Christie and Annette did a wonderful job on the food afterward.  Needless to say, it was a wonderful day.  Too bad August slept through it all.

Whoops!

So this is Peter chiming in here.  Some of you that visit this blog might notice that all of the pictures are now replaced with a very frustrating gray triangle with an "!" in it. This is because recently I had to move the blog from Jill's old account to her new one since the old one had been "compromised".  In doing so, I inadvertently deleted the photos (just on the blog, Jill has back ups on her computer).  We are going to be working on getting them back up, and by we, I mean Jill will do all the uploading and formatting and I will be there to give her a back massage during it!

There were close to 800 pictures in total on the blog, so this might take some time (and a really long back massage) and we will try to get them all up, and soon!

In the mean time, Jill will continue to update the blog as life continues, and one day I hope to loose the title of  "Photo Killer".
