Not a very flattering photo of me, but this was the best picture of us we could get that day.
The end of conference marked the beginning of our packing adventures. Our friends Amy and Hermes are moving to Alaska for the summer and needs someone to stay at their place so that they don't have to pay rent on an empty house. Fortunately, our lease goes up in the apartment the same time they're leaving and so we agreed to move there. Our living room is a giant mess and with finals and work going on, it's hard to find time to pack.
As excited as I am to be moving to this nice new place, I am a little sad to be leaving our first, little home. It's been a great, homey place and I've enjoyed all the memories we've made in it. Changes are a gift and a curse in my eyes. I don't like change very much but it is one of life's little necessities that must happen in order to grow and improve. I'm going to try the best that I can to not be too sentimental when I leave Draper Oaks, but I'm not going to make any promises.
