A week ago, a large white envelope came in the mail with my little brother's name on it. It was an envelope that he had waited and prepared his whole life to get and now that it was here, he couldn't wait to find out where he was spending the next two years. I could tell you where he is going on his mission, but it would be much more fun to let him do the honors instead.

That is so crazy about your brother! My hubby's sister is Spanish speaking in California and is currently at the Mexico MTC. I think it is so neat that they are having missionaries learn a language while still staying within the united states. I'm sure your bro will be a fantastic missionary. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Melanie! Yeah we were pretty excited that he would be so close to us but he would still be able to learn a fun language! He's pretty nervous about it but we know he'll be great :) I hope you're sister-in-law is having a blast!
