The very first Barnes family reunion was this year and we have been looking forward to it for a long time. Some family members forgot cameras so the responsibility of Family Historian fell on me. I took many, many photos so I'll keep the writing to a minimum and show everyone (especially the Barnes family) what they have been waiting for.
This reunion consists of a big trip to Chattanooga, TN...

...and then enjoying each other's company in North Carolina.
It was a lot of fun to have everyone get together for the first time in a really long time. You can't have 6 children, 4 in laws, 6 grandchildren, and 1 "boyfriend that's not really a boyfriend" all in a room without things being a tad chaotic. But the chaos is half the fun! It was fun watching the cousins interact and the grown siblings turn into teenagers again. I'm glad that I joined this family five years ago and included me in the festivities on this trip. Can't wait til the second reunion!
